Sights & Activities

We’re excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you

A nice stopover on the drive between Perth and Margaret River, it is the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere at 1,841 metres long. We caught the jetty train ride which also leads to the Underwater Observatory right at the end. The fish & chips on the land side were very good!

A light coastal walk on the Cape to Cape Track brings you spectacular views of the coast and great photo ops of the coastal peaks and crashing waves.

The Sugar Loaf Rock was named one of the region's most spectacular coastal landforms and unique environments.

A treat for the kids especially, the chocolate making facilities are viewable from the main shopping floor. Great for souvenirs or snacking on the chocolate truffles while you're in town.

Accessible tower balconies on both lighthouses offer breathtaking panoramic views of the expansive Indian ocean and where the Indian Ocean collides with the Southern Ocean respectively.

P/s: Photo on the right is of the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse

There are a few caves with huge stalacites and fossils around the Margaret River region but the Jewel Cave Augusta is the largest show cave in WA. We visited this on the same day we went to the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse on a touristy day out.
