Wineries

We’re excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you

This holds a special place on our list of favorites. As Margaret River's founding winery, it's known for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. We love the sweeping vineyards views and we highly recommend the vineyard tour  - just the perfect blend of great wine and gorgeous surroundings.

Another one of our favorites, Leeuwin Estate is known for its iconic Art Series wines and stunning surroundings. We love the combination of great wines, good food and beautiful art. We would definitely recommend lunch here on the deck and popping into their art gallery if time permits.

P/s: Sheryl (sister) bought a dozen bottles of the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon when she visited in 2022 and we think she was the cause of it running out of stock by the time we visited again in 2023!

Definitely a great wine experience, the estate offers relaxed tastings in a beautiful setting. For anyone who wants a chill afternoon out, the estate also offers a picnic pack with wine for dining out on their lawn which is perfect for a nice Spring afternoon.

Unexpected and understated, Fermoy was a happy find for us, from the flight tasting, the deck out under the perfect blue skies with the thin layer of cotton candy clouds and the nosy fly that had the unfortunate incident of drunk drowning itself in one of our glasses. We loved the Rosé and their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon!

One of the most beautiful winery estates in the region with the most delicious menu here that is prepared with seasonal ingredients that pairs perfectly with their wines. We highly recommend a long lunch. In Haru's words - "everything is quite nice."
